Who I am and how I work
Cruise planning can quickly become a research project. Which deck is worth the upgrade? What does the fare actually include? And which sailing is right for you? Helping people sort through those decisions is the part I enjoy most.
I'm an independent advisor affiliated with Expedia Cruises, giving my clients access to major cruise lines and promotions while keeping the planning personal. You deal with me directly, not a call centre or a queue.
I'm based in Cambridge, Ontario, and this is home for me. When I'm not helping someone plan a trip, there's a pretty good chance you'll find me out on my road bike, working out at the Cambridge YMCA, or grabbing coffee with friends afterward.
Staying active is a big part of how I live my life, and it shapes the way I travel too. I appreciate a beautiful ship, a great meal and a relaxing day at sea. But when we reach a destination, I want to experience it. Walking a city, cycling through the countryside, exploring a new neighbourhood or simply spending the day moving instead of watching the destination go by.
I've learned that a great vacation doesn't have to be one or the other. You can enjoy the comfort of a cruise and still come home feeling like you really experienced the places you visited.
That's something I bring to my planning. I want to understand how you like to travel, what you enjoy doing and what would make the trip memorable for you. Then I can help find the cruise, itinerary and experiences that fit.
And because I live here too, I understand the practical side of travelling from Ontario, including drive-to and fly-to ports, connection timing, pre-cruise hotels and when arriving a day early makes sense.
Who I help, and where
Ontario Cruise Center is a cruise and vacation planning practice for travellers across Ontario, with most of my clients in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and the surrounding communities. Everything is handled from Cambridge, and I work with travellers anywhere in Ontario and across Canada.
The trips I plan most are ocean voyages, European river sailings and expedition itineraries — matched to your dates, budget and travel style, with the Ontario travel day planned as carefully as the sailing itself.
Why work with an advisor instead of a booking site
A booking engine can show you every sailing. It can't tell you which one suits the way you travel, whether the cabin category is worth the difference, or what the fare leaves out.
With me you get a short list built around your dates and budget, a plain explanation of what you're paying for before you commit, and one point of contact from deposit through to disembarkation — including if something changes while you're away.
